3rd Annual Rainbows in the Wind

Our third annual “Rainbows in the Wind” is our biggest event of the year!

In celebration of what would have been our Little Miss Hannah’s 6th birthday, we invite the community to join  for a fun evening of music, activities, dancing, and raffles, while raising money to help support Las Vegas families of children diagnosed with rare, life-limiting, and complex medical conditions.

Over 1,000 people joined us at last year’s event, and we raised more than $8,000 to support our mission to help enhance the quality of life for young children diagnosed with life-limiting rare diseases, undiagnosed complex medical  needs, and children who have been placed in hospice or palliative care in Southern Nevada.

Several  energetic, reliable volunteers are needed to help us create  a fun evening of music, activities, special discounts and raffles, while raising money to help us support our local families. We can’t change their inevitability, but we can help them focus on enhancing the quality time they have with their child.  We can’t do it without the support of our community.

Duties will include:

Managing  carnival games including verifying child has wristband, helping them play the game, and giving out prizes for winners.

Helping with event teardown, booth support for our LMHF tables, and event volunteer floaters with various tasks.

This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately. Water will be provided.

The Little Miss Hannah Foundation has set up a volunteer spot sign-up site, so please follow the provided link and sign up there for the shift that you would like IN ADDITION to signing up here.

AS ALWAYS....please RSVP with integrity. The Little Miss Hannah Foundation is counting on every single volunteer who signs up to help with specific tasks.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight. Carrie has all of you assigned to a specific duty, so please check in at the volunteer booth when you get to Town Square. There will be a sign designating this booth.

    Hi All,
Carrie is making up the volunteer list today, so I wanted to be sure to check in with you all. If your plans have changed, please update your RSVP. Thank you. We are going to actually need more volunteers than we anticipated, so it is vital that everyone who says that they will be there....will be there. THANK YOU for being a part of AOK and for helping make the world a little bit brighter for children. It is going to be a GREAT night.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
