Preparing Holiday Baskets

The Blind Center is still in desperate need for help to finish their holiday baskets.

There's so much still to do!

For the past few weeks A.O.K. has been to the Blind Center of Nevada on several occasions.

We've made flavored popcorn, chocolate dipped pretzels, and gourmet oreos. We've packaged all these items individually in beautiful little boxes and festive bags. Now it's time to assemble the baskets!

Each year the Center fills orders of over 1,200 of these delectable baskets. The completed baskets are sold to the community as a major fundraiser for the organization.

We're going to fill each basket with an assortment of gourmet treats from decadent chocolates to exotic specialties. Wrap it up in cellophane and then for the finishing touch, we'll accent each masterpiece with a beautiful bow!

Volunteers: 20 volunteer helpers needed today!

This event will be from 2:00pm-6:00pm. No need to bring anything, all the supplies will be there for us. Bring a friend if you'd like, come for an hour or stay for the day. Please no children under 16. As always, please RSVP with integrity. Please post any questions that you may have below.

Program Manager at the Blind Center and Acts of Kindness member, Samantha Steele will be hosting this event.

Thank you,

Stephanie

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
