All members & their families are welcome to come and celebrate la fête nationale of France for le quatorze juillet (14 July).
The Adelaide French Language Meetup (AFLM) group is hosting la grande bouffe for Bastille Day one day early on 13 July 2013. This allows any of our AFLM members who are also members of the Alliance française (AF) to participate in official AF events on 14 July 2013.
Join us at 12h 30 le 13 juillet for a shared lunch of French dishes, appetisers and desserts – and of course, du pain et du fromage. Please post in the comments below what you will bring to share so that we have a sélection sensationnelle of cuisine & particularly mention whether you will be bringing something vegetarian so that our vegetarian members are also tempted by the bouffe! Merci!
Around 2:30 pm, we will walk from Stevie's house in Kent Town to Rundle Park on Rundle Street to play pétanque – please let Stevie know if you have a set of boules that you can bring along on the day.
Due to venue size, this is an indoor/outdoor event – come prepared with warm clothing & foot-ware (particularly for our intended games of pétanque).
NB: As this is a private residence, precise address details will only be sent to participating members by email on Thursday 11 July. Please make sure you have email notification allowed on your AFLM member profile if you want to attend this event or you will not receive the address details. Merci.
Vive la révolution, vive la fête et vive la grande bouffe de l’AFLM!
