For the final Le Brunch Sympathique for the year let's go to the French Market!
Meet at 10am when it opens to explore some tasty french treats and look at the markets.
Cost is $5 for new members and free for members.
PICTURE IT: amidst the smell of fresh coffee and brioches, a fanfare officially opens the festivities and the ‘Trio Montagne’ sings traditional French songs as families wander through a range of stalls offering all things French. Discover French Gastronomy, recognised as World Heritage by Unesco, with cooking demonstrations by some of the most creative chefs, including Chef of the Year 2013 Duncan Welgemoed from Adelaide restaurant Bistro Dom. As parents sit down to enjoy their tasty finds and sip the 2013 vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau and other luxurious French wines, the kids can enjoy having their faces painted while being entertained by a mime. In the background, children from the Alliance Française’s La Petite Ecole sing Christmas Carols. Couples indulge in a dance to some mellow jazz as the sun sets on the park’s rotunda decorated with Christmas lights. The French Christmas Market is for everyone to enjoy!
