100th Meetup! Excursion et déjeuner en France (presque!)

Et voilà, j'ai enfin déniché un petit bout de France à portée de main!

Ce petit coin délicieux s'appelle Lavande de Callington, c'est un restaurant au décor et à l'ambiance française, ainsi qu'au menu français en plein campagne.

La chef, Chris, a participé à un de mes cours de cuisine française de WEA en mai, et c'est ainsi que j'ai pu faire sa connaissance. Elle est passionnée par ce qu'elle fait, et a une personalité généreuse.

Callington se trouve entre Mount Barker et Murray Bridge, je suis heureuse d'aider pour le covoiturage pour ceux qui en ont besoin au départ de la ville/Unley.

On y va pour le déjeuner, il y a ensuite le jardin à visiter (optionel, $2) et le magasin d'antiquités collectionnées depuis des années par les soins des propriétaires.

Pour les plus courageux, on peut organiser ça en promenade à vélo (je connais des fous qui font ça régulièrement!) après dans les environs.

Ah ha! there it is ! I have at last found a little piece of France right to our doorstep!

This wondeful little corner is called "Lavande of Callington", it is a restaurant with a French feel and atmosphere, as well as having a French menu right in the heart of the country.

The chef, Chris, participated to one of my W.E.A. Practical French cuisine classes in May, and that is where I met her. She is truly passionate about what she is doing, and has an open heart.

Callington is between Mount Barker and Murray Bridge, I am happy to help out for carpooling from the city/Unley.

We'll go for lunch, then there is a garden to visit (optional - $2) and the antiques shop, from what the owners have carefully collected over time.

For the most courageous of you, we can organise a bike ride (I know some crazy people who do that on a regular basis) after in the area (not planning to ride down the freeway, although it is going down, so not much of an effort ;)
