The boot camp was a great start to building iOS apps. It really got me over the initial hurdle of not knowing where to start. Tom was really knowledgeable and took the class in whatever direction he got questions about.
The instructor was really nice guy however he did not seem to know his programming structure well enough to keep the class flowing once we go into the more advanced parts of the the course. I did still learn alot though from the class overall.
Garth was super cool, funny, and very good at teaching. I think he did a great job at keeping our attention and explained things very well. I would go back to anything that Garth was teaching. Thanks for putting this on!
Thought the presentation was very informative. The information identified the issues with Javascript, how to approach best practices and some of the new alternatives like coffeescript.
Was great getting a chance to get our many questions about the Flash/Flex changes answered by Greg. The vintage games at Insert Coins and coffee/beer didn't hurt either. :)
Really psyched to try Sencha touch in mobile development after this presentation. Thanks to Terence for organizing this event and Ted for giving such a well detailed demonstration.
A very useful first introduction to the Sencha framework. Now I have to try some hands-on testing and see if it fits my particular mobile web programming interests. Thanks, Terence, for hosting this session.
Ryan handled everything well (even with mic problems) on his presentation as well as thorough with the Q&A after his presentation.
Great information for the future of mobile web development. Lucky I attended.
I was blown away by the wealth of information that was provided by Ryan and Terence. Everything was excellent, the food, atmosphere, people, information, prizes, etc.
Absolutely fantastic meetup tonight! Ryan's presentation was both informative and entertaining. Thanks to Terence for the sneaks, and for organizing the group. Can't wait for the next one!
