C-ville coffee meetup will meet every other wednesday evening

"The world which rises in and grows by thought is also thought itself.

Thought is nothing but Consciousness and Consciousness is MY Being. Therefore the whole world is Consciousness which is Myself. I am perfect and indivisible." Atma Darshan-

Could any words with all of there limitations be more penetrating than that?

Is there a relationship between Nisargadatta's quote above and this one just posted on the Science and Non Duality Facebook page?

Wherever it leads you, it will be a dream. The very idea of going beyond the dream is illusory. Why go anywhere? Just realize you are dreaming a dream you call the world, and stop looking for ways out. The dream is not your problem. Your problem is that you like one part of the dream and not another. Love all or none of it, and stop complaining. When you have seen the dream as a dream, you have done all that needs to be done.
    ~ Nisargadatta

So it seems impossible to 'think' oneself to freedom. Acknowledging this, i.e., seeing that 'going beyond' is illusory seems to offer a certain freedom to relax into living--enjoying, observing, not judging good or bad.

The present moment requires no intervention from "us." We simply think it does.
