Bloomer Park Night Hike

Let’s go hiking on the trails in the Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills again. We will be going for a 5 to 6 mile hike along some of the park’s trails at moderately fast pace. If it's not below freezing, we might encounter some muddy areas, therefore wear proper footwear. If it's below freezing, some areas might be icy and slippery. In such a case Yak-Trax or similar equipment might be helpful.

Since we will be entering the park on foot from the Clinton River trail, the access is FREE.

We will meet in the parking lot of Letica Dr south of Parkdale Rd, before Letica Dr turns into E 2nd St. If you do not know where it is from the description, please check the provided maps carefully.

This is quite a demanding hike. We hike about 6 miles in a little over 2 hours in snow with occasional steep hill to climb.

You need to bring some kind of light to light the path in front of you (headlamp, flashlight, etc.).

Following the hike we will go to the Alibi at 6700 Rochester Rd, Troy ( between Square Lake Rd and South Blvd, on the east side of Rochester Rd.) to eat, drink and socialize.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
