are you going to take over the Bootens Gap backpacking trip? a lot of ppl were interested. you can do a diff't wknd if not the 10th of Apr.

EXACTLY - for a first trip of the season, w/weather uncertain it makes more sense to me to do the hike without all the gear, and unless the terrain is VERY unusual, a 13 mile loop in the Blue Ridge should be do-able for most people in one day if they are in good shape. Thanks for sort-of taking this over. It will/would be a good hike.
