Pre-registration required! (see link below)

Our Meetup group will gather at 6:30pm outside of the Community Center. Look for Don's green Nissan Frontier truck.

Night Orienteering at Bond Park. This event is open to everyone, but registration is required.

Please sign up by 4PM on Friday, so I know how many maps to print.

If you do not own a stick, you can still rent one.

Please park at the Community Center, all other entrances will be gated at the time.

We will start at 7:00PM (when it will hopefully be dark enough). We will gather in the parking lot around 6:45PM.

The format is the usual Score-O: there will be a mass start, and you need to be back before the clock expires, or you will be penalized for each minute you are late:

  • 3 points for the first minute
  • 5 points for each additional minute

You can choose between a “short/easy” course (30 minutes) and a “long” one (45 minutes).

Please check the web site for further announcements.

As usual, help picking up controls at the end will be greatly appreciated.

Meet fees for non-BOK members are about $10 (entry and electronic finger-stick rental included). Extra maps are $2.

If anyone would like some map skill and orienteering tutoring prior to one of these meets, just post a comment here and we can arrange something.

Pre-registration is required for this event, so they can print enough maps. See the link in the description above.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
