How's that for a cryptic title? "Adventure Run: 3BH" Hopefully it made you curious.
The idea is pretty simple: three run segments, three bars. A little exercise, a little challenge, a little social fun, all in one.
The route consists of three, roughly 4.3 mile segments using greenway, sidewalk, and trail. That gives us the "3".
The segments each end at a bar where we can have a brew. That gives us the "B".
The total distance to be run adds up to just barely over 13.1 miles, or a half-marathon. That gives us the "H".
Running a "half" seems a little intimidating, but a 4.3 mile relaxed-pace run, followed by a drink and a break, seems quite doable. Surely we can do this three times in an afternoon. That's the challenge I'm setting up for you.
The idea is for this to be an active social outing, not a competition. Beers, burgers, and/or fries are optional. Bring your own credit card.

I set the end time at 4:30pm, but I think we'll be done with the run before then. You can hang out at the end as long as you want!
