Day Hiking the Canyonlands around Moab, Utah

I've been dreaming about doing this for some time.

A week or two day-hiking Canyon country in S/E Utah.

I love this area...I've been there many times, but not recently.

No backpacking.

Camp or sleep in a motel, dinner at local joints.

An especially congenial group of friends...people I can spend a week with w/o wanting to tear anyone's head off.

Date is approximate.  October is the best month for Moab.

If this interests, drop me an email or RSVP for the waitlist and you'll be the first to hear if and as this trip develops.

I came back with wonderful memories and great expectations for the future ones.
    Thank you very much ROB.
PS, it's unfair but there are only 5 stars on rating.

Thanks, Rafael. The trip was really just what I hoped it would be, and I owe you, Shan, and Brad for that. Can't wait to do another one with you many routes left to explore!

The trip is finally going forward this year, but I'm limiting it this time to a group of four I know very well. My apologies. Perhaps it will be repeated next year and be more inclusive.

Oh great, I have always heard about how beautiful the mountainland in Utah is. I am keen to go but need more details as I have to give advance notice (like really advance) and checkout my annual leave availability in October as I have taken the bulk of it already this half of the year. But really, wouldn't miss it for the world! : p

I'll actually be hiking in Utah at the end of September, so depending on dates I'd love to join you for some hikes.

Don't forget about Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks as well. Zion NP is 2.5hrs northeast of Las Vegas.

Also, what are the costs? Which airport would we fly into?

I am very interested in this; however, I would need to plan in advance as my job requires plenty of notice before taking time off. I would need to know what the dates are very soon if we are planning this for October!
