Day Hike Moab, Utah With Rob - (No Camping!)

  • This location is shown only to members

  • Tentative....

Moab is simply my favorite place in all of Utah to go for a hiking vacation.  I've been to much of the rest of the state, but day hiking around Moab is my favorite.

I've been there many times since 1971, vacationing and leading groups.   People are awestruck by the amount and variety of incredible hiking, all within a short drive of town.

Of course, everyone has heard of nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.  But that's just the beginning.  There is so much more!

After a long hiatus, last November I took a few friends  there for 8 days and then again in April for 10 days.  Now I've decided to offer these trips to a wider audience.

I will provide much more detail, including cost, lodging, transportation and hiking level in the coming weeks.

Feel free to indicate your interest in one of these trips by RSVPing here and/or adding a comment.  Let me know which of the dates listed above might work best for you.

Hi Carey...appreciate the interest. Have to figure out how to structure this thing. When I go to Moab I like to hike new places (to me), but the Moab-newcomers all want to hit the better known "tourist" trails. We'll see.

The end of October or the early Nov dates might work for Rich and I.

Hike Moab a few years ago, if time permits Zion is also a great place to hike.

Sounds great Rob. The dates 10/26 - 11/1 work best for me
