I'm looking for about 8 hikers to join me in Minnewaska State Park this Saturday...the weather should be beautiful.
We will cover about 8 to 10 miles with lots of great views, pass beautiful lakes and cliffs and have an option(s) to do a bit of scrambling.
We'll also be stopping for about 2 hours on one of the most scenic sections to do some trail clipping. I'm the volunteer trail maintainer for this stretch and have found that often hikers enjoy the chance to participate a bit in this kind of thing w/o a major commitment.

There is no public transportation. However, at this point I have one driver coming from Queens who has offered to take folks and it should also be possible to get a ride with me from Croton Harmon station on the Hudson Line, which is 55 minutes by train from Grand Central Station. As I see who signs up, we'll try to coordinate rides.
