Sunday, 2/10/2013 - Should be the best day this winter to Ski/Snowboard!

If weather predictions hold, Sunday should be great snow conditions.  And hopefully roads should be dug out by then.

I'm not setting up an event in my group, but I am going skiing at Plattekill Mt. with a different Meetup.

If you are interested, join and RSVP there:

Transportation: at the moment it looks like there are folks coming from New Jersey who are dirving and may have room and others coming from New York City who are still looking for rides.   If you have a car and are in NYC you should be able to find riders to help with gas etc., just mention in your RSVP.

Lift Ticks and Rentals: You can get lift tickets for $33 online from Potter Brothers in Kingston...the event page tells you how.  Or, if you need to rent, you can also get a lift ticket and rental package for $59 online directly from the ski mountain.

It looks like there will be a fairly wide range of abilities.  If you are a beginner or intermediate skier and want a few pointers,  then just ask   I used to teach this sport a a way different lifetime though.
