Leisurely Bike Ride on the New Falls River Greenway 9.30 AM

This will be  a leisurely  20 mile -bike ride - not a fitness ride. You will still need to be reasonably fit.  We will start off from Horseshoe Farm Park in Wake Forest and will ride southbound down to Anderson Point Park where we will have a half-way break. We will stop  for short  water breaks or to  enjoy the view whenever necessary. Allow for at least 2 h 1/2 hours.

The pace will be around 10/11 mph.

This is a newly opened greenway. It borders the Neuse River.

Helmets are required.

thank you Isabelle for organizing the ride. My deepest appreciation for everyone's care and concern. It did not turn out the way I planned. You are all wonderful people and I hope our paths cross again.

Would have been a nice ride if Francine had not been stung twice by an insect and if Cindy had not been badly hurt. Thanks to all for your solidarity and good spirit.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
