Join in for a bike ride on a terrific part of the Neuse River Trail. This is a 20 mile ride round trip out and back heading north from Anderson Point Park. The trail is wide and paved. All off road so no traffic! There are some hills to work on but it is still generally a moderate ride at 10-11 MPH. The scenery is great. This is a no drop ride and we will take a short break where we turn around before heading back. Please consider your ability for this speed and distance as well as some hills.
Helmets required. It will be warmer so bring water and perhaps some sun screen.
Anderson Point Park can be a little difficult to find as GPS may not take you there. From 440, head west on 64 to exit 420 and south on S New Hope Rd. Turn L or north on S. Rogers Lane and cross 64. Turn right onto Neuse View Drive and go through the townhomes. Turn right on Anderson Point Dr. There are 2 parking lots....go to the second one over the bridge that again crosses 64. This is the lot where there are restroom facilities.
