I have been getting a lot of questions lately about SNO-Parks, so here is the skinny?.
While SNO-Park permits are generally required anytime after Nov. 1, they are not enforced until signed?. Even if signed, enforcement does not occur for groomed stickers at groomed areas unless grooming has started, or if grooming has done for the season (groomed stickers are required at groomed areas, even if grooming does not occur on a specific day).
Grooming will not start until after December 1st and lasts at the latest until April 1st..
The most convenient way to buy a day permit ($20), a Annual Non Motorized Sno-Park Permit ($40) and a Special Groomed Sticker ($40) is on-line, By purchasing on-line, you will significantly help the winter rec program with its financial situation. For Season permits, you can print out a temporary permit, and the original will be mailed to you. If you wish to ski at a groomed area you need both the Annual Non Motorized Sno-Park Permit ($40) and a Special Groomed Sticker ($40).

I also get a lot of questions with what is actually happening with the weather here at my Snoqualmie Pass House. I usually blog the actual weather conditions daily when I am around and you can check that out at Nordic-chris.com
