Announcing a new Meetup for Seattle Get up Get on Out!

What: 12/06 - Snow Shoe - North End - Stevens Pass or Mountain Loop- food & brew afte

When: November 16,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
Canyon Park Park&Ride
[masked]th Ave SE
Bothell, WA 98011

The snow has started so it's time to schedule a snowshoe, we'll use this day hike to figure out a route to use for snowshoe camping later on this season, so expect a little exploring.

We'll be doing an afternoon (approx 6 miles) Snowshoe at Stevens Pass (Skyline Ridge) or off the Mountain Loop Highway (Lake Kelcema). We'll meet for carpools in Bothell/Canyon Park. Please post if you can drive or if you need to carpool. I have 6 pairs of loaner snow shoes, so let me know if you need to borrow. My cell # is[masked]

Carpools - I will post carpool info here, once people post that they can drive. Each rider should plan on pitching in $5 for gas, etc. to the drivers.

I will be coming from north Seattle and probably taking 522 (Lake city/Bothell Way), I have a Toyota 4 runner, and I really don't like driving so if someone is up for driving it, we can use it.

*** Please note: Actual Snow Shoe Route choices will be updated to reflect conditions including avalanche danger. Carpool time and location will remain the same. Snow shoe routes will be fairly flat and away from the slopes for safety reasons *******

We'll meet at 9:45am in the Park & Ride and head out at 10:05, the plan is to snow shoe from 11:30am until about 1:30pm and then head back down and grab a bite and a brew at Canyons in Bothell

Hope to see you there.

Saul
