FREE Movie & Optional Dinner (THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL)

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - 99 min  -  Comedy | Drama

MPAA Rating:   R  -  www.grandbudapesthotel.com

THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL is set primarily in a 1930’s Hollywood version of Middle Europe but unfolding across 3 distinct time periods in twentieth century Europe. THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL is a unique and utterly charming comedy from director and master storyteller Wes Anderson.  The film is about the unlikely and ultimately moving friendship between a legendary hotel concierge wrongly accused of murder and the lobby boy he has taken for his protégé as they are hotly pursued across the continent trying to evade capture and clear his name.

Join us for a quick bite to eat at Chipotle Mexican Grill and a FREE movie. Arrive at the restaurant anytime between 5:00 - 6:15 PM for something to eat. The restaurant is located in a shopping center but not the same one as the theater. Chipotle is located in the shopping center across the street a few feet away.  Park near the theater and walk across the street to Chipotle.

Feel free to RSVP just for dinner, just for the movie or both.

Just new to the group, is there a sign or other indication of the Grey Wolves group? I've been to a few activities and couldn't tell which group was which group, but then I should just ask around... Movie tickets or no, will be there.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get more tickets for this screening as I was told this screening will be very popular. There are five different Meetups that I am hosting that have been invited to this screening, and they are all full with huge waitlists. There are over 80 people waiting for a seat with all Meetups combined. I sent an email to those that made it on the list asking them to update their RSVP accordingly if their plans have changed. Normally within 24 hours of a screening the RSVP's flip flop like crazy. Be sure to check back often to confirm a spot.

If you are still on the waitlist and unable to confirm a seat, feel free to join us at Chipotle for dinner and to socialize at 5:30 PM. I will start a waitlist for those that do not have confirmed seating on a first come first serve basis. Sometimes people change their mind at the 11th hour, so I may be able to get you in but I cannot guarantee it. It is worth a try. Also, if their predictions are wrong and this screening is not as popular as they thought it may be, I may be able to get you in last minute. But again, no promises. If you decide that you would like to join us at Chipotle for dinner to get on the waitlist in person, please make a comment so that I have an idea of who to expect and so that I can inform Chipotle approximately how many extra people may dine since we are going to cause a huge rush that is out of the norm for them.

I tried numerous times to register when you had 9 spots available. With Meetup down so much, the next time I tried you were down to 5 spots, another time 3 spots, then full. Glad some folks got thru to register. Hope I clear the waitlist - looking forward to meeting other members. Looks like a very fun movie.
