Welcome, Bay area Adventurers.

This group is for the fitness minded or the casual to avid outdoorsy person. Those who are new to Tampa Bay will find this is the right meetup to discover Florida and meet new friends.

We offer kayaking trips, instruction, paddle fitness, camping, hiking, biking, yada, yada yada... did he just yada me? In addition we may add a few workshops or team building trips.

Special note: We are all about safety and don't leave anyone behind, cause that would be unsafe and just plain rude. Carolina Mike the groups founder, main leader and guide has worked for Bill Jackson's, Osprey Bay Kayaks, and Woods and Waters Eco Tours in Michigan. He has guided well over 600 trips including hiking, biking, and climbing and has been teaching kayaking and canoeing over ten years. He has been a featured artist at several kayak symposiums, blah, blah, blah.... are you still reading, because my attention span is like a three month old puppy? He is a trained team building facilitator, lover of dogs, doesn't claim to hold a talent for writing copy, and all around adventurer. I can't believe I just wrote that.

Kayak rentals are available on all trips if you rsvp in time to get one. Oh man! this is boring, but I promise our trips are not. Now where are those ADD pills?

Oh yeah! One more thing. Our past trips and experience speak for themselves. Ok, two more things. Signing up or RSVPing for a trip implies that you have read and understood our About us page, and agree to follow all rules that apply. Not required, but a small description about yourself and a picture in your profile is... how do I say this nicely....nice to look at instead of staring at a greyish black box, not mention it lets us know what you look like at the meetup location.
