*****Step Two - Have the basics Need some Style*****
Can swim but not that strong or confident? Find you make slow progress of getting from one end of the pool to the other or just need some style tips?
Then this lesson is for you.
What to expect:
At your first lesson your instructor Howard will first asses your current technique and structure your learning program from this.
We will meet at the pool at 8pm with the lesson to start at 8.15pm
Our wonderful instructor Howard is giving his time for Free and is hiring a dedicated lane in the main pool for the AW attendees. The swimming pool is enclosed and the water is heated, so this event will go ahead in all weather.
What is included:
A 45 minute swimming lesson during which the initial goal is to assess your swimming style and provide instruction to improve kicking, stroking and breathing technique, all at your own speed. This means you will eventualy not only be able to swim 8 lengths of the pool with confidence but that ocean swim or triathlon can now be a goal not just something you dream about.
Lane Hire: $5 to be paid in cash to your instructor Howard.
Pool Entry: $ 5.90 (you can buy a 12 trip for $58.50)
Improving your swimming skills takes practice so expect more than one session to be required. While there remains demand these lessons will be held regularly subject to Instructor and lane availability.
What to bring:
Togs,Towel. Swimming goggles can also be helpful.

Whilst every possible assistance will be offered, Adventure Wellington Trust, the Trustees, Event Organisers/hosts and members cannot be held responsible for any accident, injuries or losses sustained leading up to, during, or after an event.
No show policy: If you no show to this event you still owe the $5 lane hire cost as this has been split over all the attendees. I will be contacting you, please respect that Howard is providing his time for free & asking him to also cover to pool costs would just be rude.
