What we are doing

Wellington Ocean Sports Team (at Royal Port Nicholson Yacht club) school is offering AWers a qualified 1.5 hour introduction to windsurfing lesson for $80. All windsurfing equipment including wetsuits, booties, and buoyancy aids will be supplied.

A maximum of 5 people will be there which means lots of time with a qualified instructor.

If we get lots of interest we will arrange more sessions. Also we should be following this up with a

windurfing course for those who want to truly get into windsurfing.

Where we are Doing it

The beautiful and sheltered Motukaraka Point in Porirua as the conditions
tend to be more reliable.

If you drive to Plimmerton, then take a right on Grays road the windsurf
truck will be there with flags up. You can't miss it- just drive till you see
it.

What you need to know and bring

This is subject to good weather conditions so may be cancelled and rescheduled at the last minute- please keep an eye on your emails!

Please bring togs, a towel, footwear that can get wet(secure so not jandals), warm clothing for afterwards, something to eat and drink.

How to Pay

Please pay for the session ($80) no later than 7 days before the event. If for any reason you can’t pay in time please get in touch with me.
