Due to popular demand of the Thursday night 'Fighting Fit' session... we're introducing 'Fighting with Style' on Mondays.This is a similar class - with a greater emphasis on the martial arts technique.
Whether fighting zombies, pirates, your own shadow, or just fighting your way into your summer clothes... 'Fighting with Style' is our Monday night martial arts fitness session. No previous experience required. These sessions are designed for you to learn the basic martial arts technique in kicking and punching, but also to get you fitter... you work at your own pace... so suitable for people trying to get fit, or fitties trying to get even fitter!!
Your instructor: Duncan Zhou, AW member and Wing Chun Instructor at Wing Tsun Academy.
Difficulty level: This will be quite a physical session - but its as hard as you make it!
What to wear: loose fitting clothes and light shoes. We will be punching things so if you're worried about damaging the skin on your hands please bring some kind of glove anything is fine from boxing gloves to gardening gloves. Don't worry if you can't you can always punch lighter or punch air!
Cost: $10 for the lesson - bring cash with you.
No Shows: The no-show policy applies to this event.
Note: This event is weather permitting, so may be rescheduled, depending on the forecast. If it needs to be cancelled we will do by lunchtime on that.
