Dragon Boat Team - First time in the boat!

THIS IS AN EVENT FOR THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SELECTED FOR THE DRAGON BOAT TEAM.

Wellington Dragon Boat Festival crew are running a 'give it a go' day on 8 December for the teams that are entering next year's festival. This isn't mandatory for the team training, more of a bonus and a great opportunity for us to get a taster for what its like to be in the boat... If we can mostly fill a boat with our team we can be out on the water for 30 mins which would be awesome!!

The plan would also be to head to the Cuckoo afterwards to try it out as our team post-training briefing venue :o)

What to bring

  • Expect to get wet - so clothing that stays warm, e.g. polyprops
  • Dry change of clothes

 

Difficulty Level

3/10

This is a team event and a race so training is required and a commitment to getting really fit.
