Mount Kaukau by Moonlight

What we're Doing
We will meet at Simla Cresent train station and enjoy Mt Kaukau by Moonlight, an exhilarating walk from Simla Crescent, giving a unique view from Mt Kaukau of Wellington Harbour by night. Enjoying a toast up Mt Kaukau before following the great Skyline Track down. If time allows, enjoy a drink at Monteith's Bar, Kandallah... a great way to end the weekend!
A beautiful walk right on our doorstep!
Difficulty: 5/10 (it will be dark and Mt Kaukau is steep, there are lots of steps! reasonable level of fitness required)
Bring: torch, layers of clothing to keep warm, sturdy shoes, something to drink/toast, munchies.
Time: 2,5 hrs
How to get there: We'll meet at the start of the Kaukau track where there is free parking. The train station is nearby for those who want to get the train out.
