Sunrise Walk - Tinakori Hill

What we're doing
Walking up to Tinakori Hill to see a sunrise.
Description
We start in front of the Sprig & Fern at 5.00am, head up through Thorndon, stick on a head torch and walk up through the Northern Town Belt, through the woods and watch the sunrise at (according to the internet) 5.40am from Tinakori Hill.
The hill provides some lovely views overlooking the city and the hills in the east. We will make our way back into Thorndon at around 7.00am, giving you the rest of the day to enjoy.
If you're keen for a challenging walk through beautiful natural bush, this one is for you!
There could even be time to test out our hacky sack skills at a new venue :)
Difficulty: 6/10
Time: 2.5 hours
What To Bring: Sturdy footwear. A wind and waterproof jacket and layers of clothing which you can peel off as you get hot and put on again as you cool and a head torch.
This event will be cancelled if there are adverse weather conditions forecast.
