Accelerated Cafe Cruise bike ride!

Come join us for a one-stop 'coffee and cake' bike cruise around the bays! With the weather forecast suggesting more settled weather towards the end of the week, what better way to spend the early part of the day cycling around the Wellington shoreline taking in the fantastic views on offer.
The plan
This route will follow the road round from Oriental Parade -> Evans Bay -> Lyall Bay -> Seatoun -> Scorching Bay -> Evans Bay -> Oriental Parad
Meeting place: On the pavement directly outside of the entrance to Freyburg swimming pool (Oriental Parade) - next to the bike stands.
Length: Approx 2 hrs maxmum - this event will be done at a decent clip - you will need to be willing to go with event and having completed it within two hours maximum. Please only sign up if you can keep pace at a good clip.
Time: 8.30am
What to bring: Helmet (mandatory!!!), wind and waterproof clothes/layers, water, snacks, money for refreshments.
Difficulty: 7/10. The ride is flat, apart from a wee hillock at the Pass of Branda. In fact, it is such a small hill its more of a buttock than a hillock :o) There's a good chance you might be cycling into some wind at some point round the bays.
