Hi Rosie,
Thanks for the reply. You're right in that I am on the wait list for the sailing tomorrow but I only did this once I realised I was not on the attendees list. I enrolled and paid for the event when it first showed on AW and there didn't seem to be a list. I guess I misinterpreted the line "must follow this link to enrol, pay, and secure your spot" as meaning just that- perhaps it should read "secure your spot by RSVPing, then pay whenever you like, even if you bring cash on the day.." -
Also, I have another question: If a spot becomes available, is it the first person on the wait list who gets it, or is the spot available until someone sees and claims it?

Last week I followed the link and paid for Sunday's sailing event to "secure my spot" but it looks like I am not on the list of attendees for this event. What's the story? I thought my spot was secured with payment.. -
