I am energetic hiker/kayaker from New York State. I recently moved to New Zealand and am ready for all kinds of activities!

Hi Debbie. Welcome to Wellywalks! I'm also from NY (City?), which I love to visit but I love returning to Wellington and it's amazing green spaces even more. We are doing a moderately challenging beach walk on March 24th if that interests you, and try to offer a range of walks each month. Hope to see you on a walk soon!

Patrick is the only one to have replied about the tramp...via email or on the site. No idea why the others are not replying. My vote is to make it an Easter trip if the hut is available then. Thoughts?

The message I tried sending on Friday night re the road trip was that the weather looked like it's going to be okay to go ahead, the place in Raglan has a 2-night minimum at weekends this time of year and Taupo's looking pretty full already, that we should probably look at booking places to stay, and where would depend on the earliest we can all get away from Wgtn on Friday (1pm for me) - please let me know by email at [masked], and I can reply with more info / options. Welcome to Adventure Wellington & to this fab city! Great to have you on board, and hope to see you soon on one of AW's many events. Did you know there is a newbies walk scheduled for the 15th July? This is a great way to meet some new (and a couple of regular) faces who are part of the group. Hope you can make this/and or other events in the near future.
