Kia ora tatou, I'm Lamorna, my iwi are ngapuhi, tuhoe, whakatohea, whanau apanui. I've moved back to Wellington recently from overseas and am looking forward to getting to know it again. I like walking and enjoying the natural beauty around us.
Lamorna - I was at the Sourdough session and forgot to save the starter for my 2nd batch. I have emailed Debbie for the recipe, but wondered if you were making any if you could save me 3 tbsp? I will be at the cheese making session this Saturday [She might be kind and bring some, but if not, could you help?]. Robyn
Hi Lamorna, welcome to Wellywalks. Non-competitive easy walking with time to use the camera are my kind of walk, too. I'll be hosting at least one of these a month so look out for anything marked 'stroll' being posted soon.
Hi Lamoma, it's probably a case of hitting send too quickly. I thought the paella class was wonderful... I think the whole concept is inspiring and the building of community very real and very exciting. It was just the use of the term master class. It was a beginner's class and that's a great thing.
Hi Lamorna, thanks for your response. Glad you are feeling good about having joined this group, and glad you enjoyed the Ngaio walk - I am not doing the newbies walk on the 19th August, so if you want to join that one, would be great to have you on board. Just sign up in the usual way if it suits. In the meantime, have a great day and enjoy the rest of your week, kind regards, Eugene
Kia ora Lamorna,
Welcome to Adventure Wellington! Great to have you on board, and hope to see you soon on one of AW's many events. Did you know there is a newbies walk scheduled for both the 11th & 12th of August? This is a great way to meet some new (and a couple of regular) faces who are part of the group. Hope you can make either of these and/or other events in the near future.
