Hope you are keeping well.

Please see below a summary of our Alliance Francaise de DuPage July 2012 activities as well as preliminary information on French Connection Day in Cantigny. Hope to see you soon at our events!

Sunday July 1, 3:00 pm - Bolingbrook café conversation. Panera Bread, 714 East Boughton, Bolingbrook.

Wednesday July 11, 7:00 pm - Geneva café conversation. All Chocolate Kitchen, 33 S 3rd Street, Geneva.

Saturday, July 14, 5 pm - 10 pm - Chicago Bastille Day celebration on Daley Plaza. Food, music, entertainment, and raffles with very exciting prizes. More details at

Sunday, July 15, from 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m - Annual AF DuPage Bastille Day Picnic
Bring your own lunch and a dish to share if you wish.  There will be games and French fellowship!

Sunday, July 29, 12:00 noon - 3 pm - Pétanque with the Chicago Pétanque Club.

Looking ahead - Cantigny French Connection Day

We are participating once again in French Connection Day at Cantigny this year.  It is on Sunday, August 12th, 2012 at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton, IL 60189. Open to the public from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
Set-up - 7:30 a.m. - 09:00 a.m.
Shift 1 - 09:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Shift 2 - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tear down 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Please contact Charles if you can volunteer for part or all of the day, and/or donate French-themed items to be sold at our booth. All proceeds of the sale will benefit the Alliance Française de DuPage and its programs.
