Open call for Assistant Organizers

Hi all -

With the Code Show starting on Sept 11, my main focus will be Agile Product Management. With the economy hitting tech hard, I think that the need to foster discussion on agile development as a cost savings measure is important. I'd like to be able to strengthen the group so that we can serve as a community resource. There are a lot of additional aspects of Agile and Scrum, and I think it is important to foster these discussions.

If anyone would like to start holding meetings for related groups, please let me know and I will add you as an assistant organizer. Here is the general success criteria for running a good tech meetup:

At least one senior subject matter expert (you!)
A regular meeting place
Someone to generally administrate the group and serve as a contact (me, done!)

Panera bread factory has in general turned out to be the best location for casual meetings... because people can get dinner and there is free wifi. If anyone would like to start running presentations on Agile and Scrum, let me know and I will do my best to secure a venue. Causecast in Santa Monica has offered their offices. Causecast is the brain child of Sloane Berrent.
