CCCi has an immediate Direct hire opportunity for a Lead Agile Developer with experience in Test Driven Development. This position you will lead a team that will develop the code to establish and implement the overall technical direction of automated testing at our client to ensure software products and client solutions are of the highest quality in terms of functionality, usability, and reliability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve as the overall technical architect of our client's automated testing solutions.
-Research and implement new test automation tools and techniques. Like Ruby, Cucumber or others that are Object Oriented.
-Design and code key aspects of our client’s test automation framework(s).
-Evaluate, select and integrate open source and or commercial test automation tools.
-Provide mentoring and technical guidance to the efforts of 8+ senior and junior automation engineers
-Conduct ad-hoc technical training, design and code reviews, and resolve development technical issues for the test automation team.
-Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality Assurance to identify necessary testing capabilities.
-Collaborate with engineering on test automation efforts and ensure that that Engineer supports the testing solutions.
-Collaborate with Configuration Management to integrate test automation application coding into the overall continuous integration environment.
-Understanding of Test Driven Development is preferable.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum eight (8) years of progressive, hands-on software development experience in test automation and or software development.
-Minimum of one (1) year of technical leadership experience. You should be a Sr. or Lead Developer.
-Experience implementing new technologies and or methods.
-Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment is strongly preferable.
-Experience with open source testing tools (e.g., Selenium, FIT) is preferable but not necessary.
-Experience working in an Object Oriented Language is required and Java or Ruby or C++ or .NET is preferable.
-Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.
-Strong familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in web-based applications is required.
-Understanding of SaaS concepts is a plus.
-Knowledge/experience with QTP is a plus.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND TRAVEL:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related technical field, unless there is significant, relevant work experience.
Periodic travel to client's other product development offices may be required. But will very rarely take place with this position.
Candidates must be local and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. No 3rd parties please.
