Atlanta Scrum Users Group Message Board › Time for a change
When I started this group two years ago my only purpose was to provide a place where Scrum enthusiasts could meet, learn and share information. I was told that if we had five to ten people show up to a meeting that we would be doing very well. Well we had 18 show up at the first meeting and our membership and participation have been growing steadily ever since. We have also been fortunate to have a very loyal group of sponsors including VersionOne, Rally, Principle Solutions Group, Intercontinental Hotels and now Pillar Technologies.
But the time has come for me to step away for a while and let some other folks lead the group. I am traveling full-time and am unable presently to provide the help and support necessary to keep the group going. So, I am turning over the group organization to Mike Cottmeyer, but I will stay connected and act in an advisory role going forward.
If anyone else has an interest in helping out please email me and/or Mike - everyone is welcome.
I want to thank you all for your enthusiasm and support for the Atlanta Scrum Users Group. I know that Mike will do a great job.
