The Tool Shootout!
We'll give a number of tool vendors (or users) 15 minutes each to give us quick demos of their tech. This should be a great opportunity to learn and ask questions!
I'll update the description as vendors confirm with me.
So far we've got companies or individuals showing us the following tools:

George FExcellent job in organizing the Shootout. I really enjoyed the company and the discussions. It was nice to learn about Cucumber, the details on Rally, and the "personal" excitement of Jira/Grasshopp
er :-) It was disappointing to miss Hexawise since the presenter was not available. I can see some of these Tools being used in collaboration, for example Cucumber to create the scenarios, and attaching the exported document to Microsoft Visual Studio Team System, Rally, or Jira.

Chris ImersheinPresentation quality varied, but mostly very good. Hard to choose between the two rooms though -- next time we'll want to do fewer demos all in one room.

I like to recommend splitting this Tool Shootout for two meetings, since there are so many tools being presented. I suggest covering all of the tools currently being scheduled for the Small Conference Room (second room) to be presented in the January meeting. This will avoid the attendees for having to make a choice on which tools presentation to see, since we already have 5 tools being presented in the main conference room. Plus this can provide some time for any contingencies.
