Motivation through Innovation
As agile team members, we struggle with engaging and motivating our teams and our organizations. Agile methodologies talk about self-empowerment, but few talk about building a culture of innovation. Such a culture infuses not just the development teams, but every aspect of an organization. It is this culture that makes coming into work each day less like work. In this talk, I draw from Dan Pink and discuss what motivates individuals, and show how to translate that knowledge into what can motivate organizations.
