I wanted to remind everyone know that the September meeting is soon approaching and Jon Stahl, an Agile Coach and President of Leandog Software, will be coming from Ohio to present at our Agile RTP Sept 13 meeting. I met Jon at an Agile Coach Camp in Ontario last year and everyone was blown away by Jon's fantastic Top Down story board presentation. Everyone was taking pictures of all his story boards after the presentation and he was definitely a crowd fav! If you have not already RSVPed for this meeting, please do so on the Meetup Group
Leandog Software is also well known for their outstanding agile classes that they offer. They will also be in Raleigh the week of Sept 12th teaching their ATDD class. This is a very hands-on class on acceptance test driven development and is for those that want to fundamentally change the way that they test software applications their organizations. You can find out more details on this class and signup at: -> Register Here
Below is a copy of Jon Stahl's personal email invitation to all of you. I hope to see you at the Sept 13 meeting. Thanks.
Best Regards, Yvonne Kish

Agile RTP Group, I'm really excited to come to Raleigh and present
"Agile From The Top Down" at your meetup on September 13.
will have trouble sustaining a true Agile culture if the Executives
& Sr. Management team does not live the same way. IT Executives
must practice what they preach and help create the CULTURE, NOT PROCESS.
If they want teams to be transparent and agile, they need to practice
themselves and lead by example. This talk will share some Agile &
Lean techniques, applied in a new way, to help organizations understand
their constraints so they can transparently carry forward their journey
to becoming Agile. “Seeing the Whole” includes customers, strategy,
projects, applications, people, leadership, financials and Standard
Work. I will propose creating a BVR (Big (I mean big) Visual Room),
refactoring the PMO and suggest some practices to help support this
journey. During this talk, I unveil 25+ physical boards and build a big
visual room with open discussion.
"Cheezy" Morgan and Joseph Leddy will also be in Raleigh to teach
LeanDog's 5-day Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) course that
same week. To register for the course visit our website -> Register Here
We have heard how strong the Agile movement is there and we are excited to experience it first hand. Hope to see you there!
