We are planning to hold our next meetup on Monday March 31st at 6pm. The topic is Living Simultaneously With and Without Agile presented by Simon Storm.
Living Simultaneously With and Without Agile
The pursuit of Agile is fueled by the desire to meet business needs by becoming a more efficient team. Unfortunately, few make it to the promised state of effectiveness for a variety of reasons ranging from unsupportive leadership to the draw of old habits. However, there is one other critical ingredient that tends to be overlooked, or at least understated, that can propel your team to incredible levels of success.
In this talk we will discuss how Continuous Delivery is crucial to meeting the lofty goals of any Agile transformation. We will use the example of Promontory Interfinancial Network, an Agile financial services company, that is experiencing rapid deployments and happy business users in one product and simultaneously wrestling with an inability to meet business needs and constant fire fighting in another product. The primary difference in the products is the amount of delivery automation.
