Exploring Exploratory Testing

Please come celebrate the launch of Elisabeth's book, Explore It! from Pragmatic Bookshelf! The book is entering the final production phase and will be available in paperback in early 2013.

Explore It! explains how to do Exploratory Testing, a testing approach that involves simultaneously designing and executing tests, using feedback from the last test to inform the next. Exploratory Testing is good for uncovering implications of interactions that no one ever considered as well as misunderstandings about what the software is supposed to do.

In this meetup, you'll learn about core elements of Exploratory Testing such as charters and heuristics while you explore a hand held game, Scrabble Flash.

This will be our last meeting at Agilistry Studio. The space is emptying, but there are still chairs to sit on, drinks in the fridge, and space on the kitchen counter for pizza. And what else do we really need, anyway?

6:00-6:30 - Pizza and networking.

6:30-8:00 - Exploring!

8:00-8:30 - More networking.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
