A bit of history: "Light Bob" was a nickname for light infantry troops that originated in the 18th century. Light infantry were highly mobile troops that didn't fight in the standard line formations used in 18th century battle. Instead, they were used as skirmishers and scouts, and were the predecessors to today's Special Forces.
