How the Photo Shoots work:

Photo shoots are typically 4 hours long. This usually means the photographers will have about roughly 3 hours of shooting time.

30 mins - Welcome / Overview - Getting settled
1.5 hrs - Model Shoot
30 mins - Break
1.25-1.5 hrs - Model Shoot

We suggest photographers to no be more than 30 mins late. That time allows us to collect any remaining fees as well as give photographers time to set up.

3 Model stations will be set up. Each model station will have at least one model and will have a certain lighting configuration or background. For natural lighting stations, lighting will be provided by sunlight through a window and a reflector would be used to create nice fill light. With studio lighting, backdrop or seamless paper will be used and lighting will be set up for the model.

Since there are tons of professional photographers in our group, feel free to suggest how you want a lighting setup to change. We can definitely change the lighting for a few shots and see if others would like the current set up or change the lighting back. Try to ask one of the assistants on site to change the lighting. As the lighting will most likely be rental, we would like to be responsible for moving lights.

After the photo shoot, feel free to use the images on you portfolio. Be sure to remember to send me photos to post online and to send to our models so they can use it for their portfolio as well. Also, if you had a great time, give a high review for the meetup event. Higher reviews means more people will come and that would mean more photo shoots will be available with great themes involved.
