An overview of developing for iOS from a web development perspective

Join us for a discussion for coders and designers alike. We'll talk about app developer opportunities from a personal and professional perspective covering apps, books, magazines, newspapers, film, TV, video, music, games, and advertising. We'll also discuss the software tools used and the balance of skills needed along with the future of iOS, Mac OS X, and Apple, the myths and facts.

Discussion Leader: Jeff Johnson is a designer with a web developer background. He develops interactive apps, video, TV shows, films, magazines, and books for the Apple ecosystem/platform (iOS and Mac) accessible with the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, and Web. He creates and manages rich, interactive advertising campaigns on Apple's iAD platform and handles the entire process from creation, to submission to Apple, to managing the account relationship with Apple.

The meeting will be at the Hudson Library and we'll have a sign in the lobby listing the room for the meeting.

Once you enter through the main doors, you go left and we're the first door on your right. There's a sign at the front door that mentions the meetup as well.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
