Fall Hiking Spree - Monroe Falls Indian Spings Trail

Avoid the Black Friday rush at the stores and malls. Come on out to a nice hike at Monroe Falls Metro Park instead.

This hike will be inside the Lake area off river road.  Last Month we met at the upper area off route 91 and hiked the Meadow trail. This will be the other side of the park. It's rated a 2 out of 3 so it is classified as Moderate. It will be about 2.2 miles long without any side trips. There are a couple pretty interesting places and a small water fall that can be seen along one of the side trails.

This is a fairly hill trail that is well groomed. You can follow the road around to the far side of the lake to get to the trail head after you enter the park.

For those wanting, we can extend the hike about a mike and a half longer and hike the loop road and paths around the lake after the trail.
