This was such a nice event! I was almost an hour late and was a bit frantic when I first arrived, but Claire swooped in and made sure I met up with my group. And speaking of the group, I had such a nice time with the folks I met. The icing on the cake was definitely the food! Delicious! I can't wait for the next one.

I had a remarkable night being broccoli!:) It was a lot of fun restaurant hopping to eat tasty food, while experiencing downtown Saratoga's atmosphere and hospitality. It was wonderful meeting you all; you were what made this experience enjoyable. Claire, thank you, and and others and your family, for organizing such an adventure!

Is the Naan being specially prepared for us to be vegan? It normally contains dairy. I have found it necessary to order another kind of flatbread that is vegan (such as Roti) in the past.

Kathy I completely understand your feelings about the abuses. I have asked them to speak for about 15 minutes each about the work of their sanctuaries and positive aspects for each. They will have books available and may possibly read a passage from their book.

I can truly appreciate all the good work that these two farm sanctuaries, but I am wondering about the lecture topics. For me, personally, I can't personally handle one more lecture on animal abuse in industrial farming. I have already given up animal products..there is not need to convince me.

If a fourth restaurant is still needed, try Scallions. Walking distance, has a separate room, and they have vegan specific items on their menu.

    I will be there! Can't wait :)

I would have liked to come but I will be traveling in May, and will miss all events in May.

For the 4th restaurant, have you tried 4 Seasons? Then again, might not be a large enough venue. Also, I have gotten great mexican vegan food at Leon's on Crescent St. Just some suggestions :) Living in the Berkshires now, but miss my Toga-town!!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
