Anne Dinshah is coauthor with her mother Freya Dinshah, of the new book, Apples, Bean Dip, and Carrot Cake: Kids! Teach Yourself to Cook. She invited 26 children to learn and create techniques for this book. Anne enjoyed developing kid-friendly language with them, photographing their efforts, and sharing the tasting tasks.
She has a bachelor of arts from the University of Notre Dame and a master of education from the University of Texas at Austin. Anne is a rowing coach by profession which often requires travel, but she officially resides in a stone and timber-frame writer’s cabin she built with the help of many friends in western New York.
Anne credits Freya for instilling in her a love of cooking and her father Jay for a love of eating delicious homemade food. Her son Clint makes cameo appearances in this book and loves to scrub potatoes.
Anne’s others books include Dating Vegans: Recipes for Relationships, Healthy Hearty Helpings, and co-author for Maribeth Abrams’ The 4 Ingredient Vegan.
