Road Bike: 32 mile..Fruit loop

Park anywhere in the lot and look for Ro.

Moderate ride (14-16 mph at most) on the Fruit Loop Trail (entire bosque trail) starting at Alameda Open Space parking lot at 9:00 AM.  Distance is approximately 32 miles (Gerry, right?).  Breaks and a leisurely pace make it quite doable.  Honest!  This is a no drop ride.

Medium Pace:14-16 +/-  Distance will be 32 miles plus or minus.

Helmets are required.

Hi Georgia - We go as far south as the trail goes (near Bobbie Fisher); entire loop is 32 miles. Don't know when we'll finish, all depends on riders' pace, breaks, etc., but by noon or before.

Ro...Looks like a good group. I won't be able to make it...have a funeral to attend. I saw something on the news about a dedication ceremony for the newly paved portion of the path....hope it doesn't interfere with the ride.

Sorry you can't make it Gerry and thanks for checking this dedication ceremony which I knew nothing of!

Just checked on the ribbon cutting dedication ceremony...it is today at 10:00 so shouldn't affect the ride.

Hi Jan - Do you mean Montano? Perhaps meeting at Tingley Beach .... pleasant place to hang out if you get there ahead of us. Send me a person e-mail so we can exchange cell phone numbers and get "timing" right.

    So glad you're coming! ...Ro
