ALBUQUERQUE CYCLISTS CLUB, (ACC), was formed to provide a venue for all types and skill levels of cycling. Shannon assumed the role of Organizer on March 11, 2015.
Adult singles, married couples & partners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join ACC.
The focus of ACC is to provide biking events where members can meet up with other road or mountain bicyclists to ride roads, paths and trails.
All skill levels are welcome. Choose the events which match your abilities and interests.
There may be faster/longer distance cycling (for example, 40, 50, or 60 miles @ 16 -18+ mph) for the serious road bikers, medium speed rides (for example, 20 or 30 miles round trip @ 12 - 14 mph) for casual riders, easy rides for beginners (for example, 10 miles at 6 to 10 mph) and off road biking for the mountain bike members.
The survival of this group will depend entirely upon members volunteering to lead such rides.
Wearing a CPSC, Snell or ASTM approved Helmet is a requirement for riding with this club.
By joining this club, you understand the inherent risks in bicycling and agree to not hold the Organizers, Assistant Organizers, Event Hosts or any member liable for any injury you may incur. You also agree to allow photos of you that are taken by our members to be posted, although you may request that they be removed, and of course you may stand aside when pictures are being taken.
This meetup group is not a venue for advertising or promoting either yourself or your business. Using it as such may result in loss of membership.
If this is your first meetup group, you will want to read Meetup's "Terms of Service" (scroll way down to the grey area).
This group is free. There are no join fees, no yearly dues and no event fees to be paid to the organizer. Members will however be entirely responsible for paying fees reqired to attend events that are put on by groups or organzations outside of ACC but posted on ACC.
Please click on the "Join" button above or below if you would like to join this group. You do NOT need to join Facebook. If you are already a member of meetup, you just need to log in to Meetup and join. But if this is your first Meetup group then Meetup will ask for your "real name" and requires a "working email address".
