Photo Scavenger Hunt w/Image Review

Seasonal --- Strongest: devoid of context, I wonder what it is. Could it be an image of space/time continuum (or am I too off the wall?) --- Most distracting: I am not sure this image is that strong -- can't put my finger on it

The texture is the strongest element in this photo. The varied silver hues are visually pleasing. The balance is strong as well. I'd say the lack of context, however is the most distracting element. Obviously that's just a personal opinon/my taste :)

Strength= color scheme, silver highlights in the fleshtones different from the pattern of the silver. Distracting: Don't be afraid to get in there, as I like the space-time continuum idea, but it's still not abstract enough to really fool me. Were this a detail shot in a wedding album, though- it'd be a super strong image. It really is beautiful, but perhaps not quite bold enough.

I like the textures and colors; and the composition, focus and dof are all well done. I agree with Carly--a photo like this has a context for SOMEONE, but it is probably personal. And for that person, it will be a favorite image.

Event though this image is color you did a good job spanning the range from deep black to silver. Gives the image both depth an texture.

I may use this for next year's Christmas card.
