Photo Scavenger Hunt w/Image Review

Seasonal: Strongest element is vertical line; most distracting is the way the snowflake blends into the background. ~ Tommi

Strength-perspective and the duplicity of in-focus and out-of-focus, but same object correlation. Distracting: the white door frame. Crop that down to a little above the snowflake sans door frame and it's really strong. As far as the snowflake...true perhaps a little bit of an angle change (stepping to your left an inch or so when shooting) could have allowed for more snowflake and perhaps a dark object to contrast against it. However- easy fix in post with some burning. Still wonder though if I need more snowflake regardless?

Strength: The repetition in and out of focus of the blues and greens. I actually like the door--it gives the greenery something to hang on. Distracting: I wonder whether the evergreen is real or fake. If the needles had slight variations they would look real. But I don't know how to fix that in PhotoShop.

Strength - the sharp focus on the snowflake and the nice bokeh in the background. Distracting - there are too much going on, I would crop it around the snowflake (while keeping the blurred background)

Strength: the depth. Love the bokeh. Also, I gotta say I like the doorframe there too, but I'm a sucker for architecture in general. Distracting--I wish there was a bit more visually, and yes more snowflake. I have a fever and the only cure is more snowflake!
